Human rights activist. Member of the board of the United Left Party of Estonia, leader of the NGO "Russian School of Estonia". In December 2018, criminal proceedings were initiated against him (Article 281 of the Estonian Penitentiary Code "Submission of incorrect data to the register of non-profit associations and foundations"). In 2020, the criminal proceedings in this case were closed.
