Opposition Moldovan politicians who visited Moscow were interrogated at Chisinau airport
Upon their return to Moldova, the participants of the congress of opposition forces, which was held in Moscow, were subjected to hours-long interrogations, "Russkiy Mir" reports. They were detained right at the airport.
Representatives of the Victory bloc said that there were many elderly people among the detainees. Some of them needed medical assistance, as it was extremely difficult to withstand such pressure.
According to Natalia Paraski, who heads the Revival party, she was interrogated by special services. They threatened the politician with criminal liability because of her frequent trips to Moscow. They even hinted at treason, she added.
The congress of the Moldovan opposition was held in Moscow. As "Russky Mir" reported, its participants announced the creation of the political bloc "Victory". Its activity will be aimed at strengthening and expanding relations with Russia, CIS and EAEU. They have been traditional partners for Moldova for many years. The ruling party is doing everything to break these ties.
Moldovan opposition politicians believe that the international community should react to the actions of the Moldovan authorities. They are sure that the pressure that Chisinau is trying to exert on those who do not agree with it should be widely publicized.
Pobeda called these steps "the last convulsions of the authorities".
