The indictment is for purposefully justifying and glorifying the Russian NWO in Ukraine. Linderman is also accused of actions “aimed at fomenting discord between Latvians, Russians and Ukrainians” and that he “purposefully and systematically disseminated messages relevant to the Kremlin's interests”.
The case went to trial in April 2023. In June 2022, the court remanded Linderman in custody.
