Zoya Palamyar: The Fund for Support of Compatriots showed care and promptly helped in a difficult situation

Zoya Palamyar, a public figure and co-organizer of the “Immortal Regiment” in Tallinn, spoke about the support provided to her by the Foundation for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad, Baltia Portal reports.

At the XII Baltic Forum of Compatriots she managed to meet with Vladimir Pozdorovkin, First Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad, and expressed her gratitude for his help.

- The Foundation promptly responded to my deportation, took care of my health and continues to be interested in my situation. I am sincerely grateful for this,” she said.

Zoya Palamyar also expressed her gratitude to the Executive Director of the Foundation for Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad Alexander Ivanovich Udaltsov, Viktor Nikolaevich Demin and all those who supported her in difficult times.

We would like to remind you that on November 21-22, St. Petersburg hosted the XII Baltic Forum of Compatriots, which brought together compatriots from the countries of the Baltic region and post-Soviet states, as well as leading experts in the field of international relations and protection of the rights of compatriots.

The participants included representatives of federal and regional state authorities and mass media. The main program of the forum included a plenary session and two thematic sessions. These platforms discussed topical issues of interaction with Russian compatriots in modern conditions, as well as support of their civil, political, social, economic and cultural rights, preservation of historical memory and preparation for the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The forum was organized by the Committee for External Relations of the Leningrad Region.
