An Estonian citizen was fined 400 euros in Narva for wearing a hat with the USSR coat of arms

On October 21, 2023, a man who, according to the police, exhibited an object with symbols of an aggressor country was fined at the border in Narva, Ida Prefecture reported.

The offender turned out to be an Estonian citizen who arrived at the Narva-1 border checkpoint from the Russian side.

As it was specified in the police department, the object with the symbols of the aggressor country was a white hat with the USSR emblem.

The police drew the man's attention to the fact that such symbols are prohibited in the Republic of Estonia and fined the violator 400 euros.
